SUMMER!!!!

This has been an amazing summer already! For those who were able to go to Encounter, it was amazing. If you weren't able to go, grab someone who was and ask them about brokenness!

I am heading to Opp Camp tomorrow with 10 teens and it will be week full of service to those in need of unconditional love, that God calls us to. We are going to be exhausted but it will be awesome!

FDC and Wildside are coming up quickly guys!! If you have not registered...its time!!! Go online to: www.daybreakcamp.org and register!

We will be hanging out quite a bit this summer when I am not at camp. If I am at camp, Mark Donaldson should be organizing something those weeks to hang out and just chill and enjoy the summer!

Praying for God to work mightily this summer to transform us into His likeness!

Service Week

So, my computer died! But I have not, so I will be posting this week, somehow, updates from service week. We begin at 8:02am! BE HERE! It is going to be a great week of service in the Kingdom of God! I am most excited about adding 30 Hour Famine to the end of our week this week! It will be an amazing experience, to deprive ourselves of food for 30 hours and raise money for those who don't get to eat nearly as often. May the Lord bless us this week as we seek Him and His Kingdom!

Service Week

WOW! Its been a while! There has been a ton of stuff going on and I have failed to update this...so here we go!

Service week is coming up April 6-10 and we will be doing some stuff at Daybreak for a couple days and then finish off the week strong by doing 30 Hour Famine! It will be $40 which will cover food and other expenses. There is so mcuh to do and Jesus set the example for us by washing the disciples feet! We are called to serve and so we will!

Come What May

We are having a meeting November 1st for all who want to help out with Come What May. We are very heavy into the planning process,and are excited about what God is doing with it.

Unplanned pregnancies are an issue that we need to be prepared to deal with and this will hopefully start us in that direction. We have to be ready with alternative solutions and be ready to help them along that alternate path if this is truly what we believe. The idea is not just to scare them away from terminating the pregnancy but to offer them other options.

Please be in prayer about this and tell your friends!

November 14th 6-9 FREE coffee cart and popcorn! We will have discussion groups after the movie.

SALT

Ok guys, we have changed the application dates of SALT to September and that would be the dates you will be on the Team, is Sept-Aug. If you are interested in joining SALT grab an application from me or print one off the church website.

We need your help! If you are looking for a way to be more involved and have more input to what happens with the youth ministry...this is how you do it!

Rest

We had an awesome summer, and I know that God did some work on me. Unfortunately, I don't always allow that work to take place! Let me encourage you as you rest up a bit for school, to rest IN God and allow him to do some work on you. Get out of the way with your plans and your life and allow God to mold your plans and guide you in this little journey we call life! You can also rest assured knowing that you are loved and wanted by the creator of the universe and what can be more powerful than that?
